Elder Care Mediation

Elder mediation enables families to have facilitated conversations while providing opportunities to strengthen relationships. This work is necessary in order to create a path toward mental, physical, and financial health for our elder family members - both biological and chosen.

While conducting meetings around elder care, we work at the table as a team. The team can include family members, entrusted friends, dear neighbors, and faith or community resources. During these conversations, each member of the team is provided an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas. The overall goal of this process is to put every decision point on the table, to work effectively together as a unit and to create a plan that addresses the elder's future needs, often including end of life decisions.
